Why United States is different

"A single week of home-carrier roaming in the US typically costs more than our 30-day unlimited plan."

The United States is the roaming-cost capital of the world. Unlike the EU, there's no legal cap on international data charges — AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile all bill inbound roamers via their home carrier, who charges $10–15 per day. A two-week US road trip on a British or Australian plan costs $140–210 before you've streamed a single map.

Our US plans route through T-Mobile and AT&T. T-Mobile has the best visitor-eSIM experience on paper, but its rural coverage is patchy — expect gaps in Utah, Nevada, and the Dakotas. AT&T is the fallback for highway-heavy trips. We auto-select based on your top-up location.

Coverage you can actually measure.

We run United States on 2 carriers so your profile falls back automatically if one signal drops. Coverage figures are measured against our own uptime data, not carrier marketing claims.

Troubleshooting

  • T-Mobile has weaker rural coverage than AT&T. For road trips through Utah, Arizona, or Montana, buy an AT&T-preferred plan.
  • US carriers don't use APN settings — if you're prompted, leave blank.
  • NYC and SF subway systems have cellular coverage in most stations; tunnels between stations are offline.

Who United States eSIM is built for.

  • Road-tripper

Route 66, PCH, Blue Ridge Parkway. AT&T fallback keeps you online through the Mountain West where T-Mobile thins out.

  • First-time visitor from Europe

Your home EU plan is useless here. A 10 GB US plan costs less than one day of home-carrier roaming.

  • Business traveller

Invoice-friendly pricing, hotspot tethering, and no contract — deployable to any team member.

  • No. All US plans are data-only. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime, or Google Voice for calls. Most hotels, airports, and coffee shops have free Wi-Fi calling as a fallback.
